This is the time of year when all of the great leaves are out on our trees and bushes. Larisa is going to show us how to take those leaves and use them to print on tea towels and shirts. Tea towels and paint provided- bring a light colored t-shirt or sweat shirt if you’d like to make a custom fit.

Homemade Vanilla Extract & Herb Vinegar-Wed May 27
Tired of paying a ton for vanilla extract and also want to give your friends and family something truly special for the holidays? Then join us in making a batch of homemade vanilla extract which needs to “brew” (sit in your cupboard) for 4 to 6 months. Come back in November with your vanilla and we will put it into individual bottles for you to give to your friends and family. Can’t wait that long to experience something delicious? Don’t worry during this work shop we will also be making herb-infused vinegar. You’ll be given a variety of herbs to customize your vinegar such as, tarragon, dill, thyme, basil, rosemary. Want to spice things up add garlic or jalapeno!

Creatives and Conversation- Junk Journaling- Tue May 26
Junk journaling- what is it? Come with all your photos, stickers, recipts, tickets, notes and everything you’ve collected from your last trip or semester at school and learn how to put them into an amazing keep sake. We will provide the glue, paper, stamps, cut outs, decorations and guidence and you bring the scrap book you want to put it into. This is something you will treasure for years to come!
Do you have DIY projects at home you can’t seem to get to? Feel free to bring it to this session and work on it while others are playing with pictures!

Terrarium Building with Deeply Rooted-Thur May 21
Join us as we learn and build terrariums. Deeply Rooted Ridgewood’s Little Plant Shop will be bringing the supplies and Master Gardner Sharon Ma will lead the workshop. Every participant will leave with their own terrarium with substrates, terrarium decor and mini plants! Your window ledge is looking bare and needs some green- come and play in the dirt with us! Custom Journal Notebook-Monday May 4
Design a custom journal from cover to cover with space for organizing and spots to write down your thoughts. During this workshop you will be given all the materials to assemble your custom journal, we will have art work for your cover or you can bring something of your own.
